Retiree Group Hosts Annual Luncheon, Endorses Sen. Tammy Baldwin for U.S. Senate

Cites Her Commitment to Protecting Earned Social Security and Medicare Benefits 

Milwaukee, WI – Members of the Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans will proudly announce their endorsement of Sen. Tammy Baldwin for re-election to the U.S. Senate from Wisconsin during their annual Power Luncheon at the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee on Monday, October 8 at 10:30 a.m. Members will also announce their endorsement of incumbent Rep. Gwen Moore for re-election to the U.S. House from the 4th Congressional District (CD); Randy Bryce for election to the U.S. House from the 1st CD; Tom Palzewicz for election to the U.S. House from the 5th CD; and make their endorsements for State Treasurer and Attorney General.

In announcing their endorsement of Sen. Baldwin, Alliance members cited her continued dedication as a senator who understands the issues facing seniors and retirees. “Senator Baldwin’s positions on issues such as strengthening Social Security and Medicare, and protecting patients with pre-existing conditions,  demonstrate her strong commitment to improving the quality of life for older Americans,” said Marlene Ott, President of the Wisconsin Alliance for Retired Americans.
