Affordable Care Act

In March of 2010, President Obama signed into law the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act – the largest reform of America’s health care system since the 1960’s. Under the law, Medicare beneficiaries will receive a free annual checkup and will no longer have to pay for preventive screenings. As of February, 2015, Obamacare had enabled seniors to save over $15 billion on prescription drug costs.
