Retiree Group Endorses Susan Wild for U.S. House
Cites Her Commitment to Protecting Earned Social Security and Medicare Benefits
Allentown, PA – Members of the Pennsylvania Alliance for Retired Americans will proudly announce their endorsement of Susan Wild for election to the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District at the VFW in Allentown on Tuesday, October 9 at 2:00 p.m.
In making their endorsement, Pennsylvania Alliance members cited Wild’s experience as a community advocate and leader who understands the issues facing seniors and retirees. Seniors advocate Jon “Bowzer” Bauman of the musical group Sha Na Na will also appear at the event.
“Susan Wild’s positions on retiree issues demonstrate a strong commitment to improving the quality of life for older Americans,” said Dwayne Thomas, President of the Pennsylvania Alliance for Retired Americans. “Her commitment to preserving and protecting Social Security and Medicare from benefit cuts will help ensure these programs will be around for current and future generations.”
Members also cited Wild’s commitment to providing more affordable health care for older Americans, stronger retirement and pension security, and quality long term care.
