Medicare Stories – Louie Duran

“My father had multiple surgeries to treat his thyroid cancer, no way would he have been able to afford that without Medicare, he would have been bankrupt,” says Luis Duran, of Claremont, California

Luis’ parents, after long and productive working lives, received excellent medical care as retirees because they were had Medicare. Luis’ mother had to have multiple surgeries to treat lung cancer, and he was able to spend valuable time with her.
