2022 National Meeting
You’re invited to join us on July 27-28, 2022 for the Alliance for
Retired Americans quadrennial National Membership Meeting from 1 to 5 PM Eastern Time each day.
The National Meeting will be conducted virtually via the Zoom platform and it is free to attend.
During the meeting, all Alliance members will elect a president and secretary-treasurer. Community-based members will also elect an executive vice-president and six at-large members of the Alliance executive board.
There will be special messages from leaders in the fight for retirement security, and interactive workshops on important topics for the 2022 mid-term elections including “Combating Disinformation Online” and “Why Voter Contact Matters.”
The registration deadline for the National Meeting is July 15, 2022.
Resolutions:
Every four years, the Alliance National Meeting considers
resolutions which guide Alliance policy positions. Resolutions pertain to a statement of the Alliance’s position or policy on a specific matter. Please click here to review previous Alliance resolutions.
After proposed resolutions are submitted, they are reviewed by a Resolution Committee to ensure that they fit within the scope of permissible Alliance resolutions. The Resolution Committee then presents the resolutions at the national membership meeting to the national membership body. Resolutions are debated and will be voted on by Alliance members during the National Membership Meeting on July 27 and 28, 2022.
