Protecting Voting Rights 2022

The Alliance is committed to protecting voting rights and safeguarding the health of older Americans. No one should have to risk their health or face unnecessary obstacles to cast a vote that will actually be counted.

Several state Alliance chapters have challenged overly burdensome voting requirements in 4 states during the past two years. The Alliance also urged the U.S. Election Assistance Commission to stop allowing state election offices to require full Social Security numbers on voter registration forms.
