Capitol Thumbnail In the 2006 elections, Alliance members went to the polls in record numbers. We knew it was time for a change. And we sent a lot of bad politicians straight into retirement.

Our e-mail letter campaign successfully encouraged the U.S. House to allow Medicare to negotiate lower prescription drug prices with the pharmaceutical industry.

Social Security Truth Truck Our Social Security "Truth Truck" delivered 2.1 million petitions to Members of Congress, blocking the privatization of Social Security.
