Medicare Beneficiaries Face 12 Percent Hike in 2009 Drug Premiums

According to a report by the Associated Press, the average Medicare Part D beneficiary will face a 12% monthly premium increase in 2009. Federal government projections show the cost of standard drug coverage rising $3, to $28 each month.
